Through therapy we can learn to understand ourselves better and see why we behave as we do.
Marina Hildegard
I am a mental health counsellor and therapist with a diploma in integrative psychotherapy and psychosynthesis. I follow the EFPP (European Federation of Psychosynthesis Psychotherapy) ethical rules. I therefore work under a duty of confidentiality, supervision, and ongoing participation in continuing education. Like my teacher Dr. Roberto Assagioli and psychosynthesis, I work in therapy regarding health within the person as a starting point. As a therapist, I see a person, as a whole: consisting of body and emotions, intellect, and soul.
I work with mental illness - anxiety, depression, and other disorders. These are not necessarily a sign of illness but can be healthy signs in the client and lead to new opportunities, personal development, and greater self-understanding.
I want psychology to be practical and concrete, just like the psychosynthesis I am trained in. It makes us both understand why we behave the way we do and really helps us to live better. I work with creative techniques such as guided visualizations, free drawing, conversation, and shape exercises to help the client get in touch between the conscious and the unconscious. The purpose is to get to know your own inner life and avoid letting yourself be guided by unconscious desires, drives and needs. I support the client in the work with their will as a central part. By exercising the will and our inherent ability to determine what we want, deep down, we can release power into our lives and thereby realize ourselves and our goals; be powerful and free!
I have worked as a certified counsellor and therapist since 2007 and have met hundreds of clients in their life process. Conscious people with a desire to develop and take responsibility for their lives. I am incredibly grateful that I have been able to guide and support these people in their process.
My clients best describe how I am as a therapist and how my work is, and therefore I let them speak for me here. Thanks!
